Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Washington State
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Document delivery receipts and resolve any shipment discrepancies
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong knowledge of Washington State traffic laws and hazardous materials handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
