Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries across the Austin metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with warehouse teams
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logging documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Austin area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
- Must pass background check and have stable employment history
