Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner during night shifts to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical condition of the truck.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring safety and securing loads according to regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and documentation for all trips.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
