Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 3+ years of driving experience preferred (fresh graduates with clean records considered).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
