Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and accounted for.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures from recipients when necessary.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior and exterior.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and route management.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for route tracking and communication.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
