Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere to all federal/state traffic laws and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
