Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances on designated routes (Wichita, KS ↔ Texas)
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Handle secure freight delivery with proper documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience (Texas routes preferred)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including overnight travel
- Strong navigation skills for interstate routes
