Responsibilities
- Execute safe and timely delivery of packages to designated locations in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for mechanical issues and ensure it is clean and well-maintained.
- Interact professionally with customers, including proper handling of goods and courteous communication.
- Prepare and organize delivery documentation, including invoices and receipts.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with handheld delivery devices (preferred but not required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
