Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) and adhere to all federal and state motor carrier regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, verifying delivery manifests and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and hours-of-service logs.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to prevent accidents and violations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or dry van preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
