Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in the same condition as received.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service (HOS) using E-Log systems (EOBR).
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure loads.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, traffic laws, and navigation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
