Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods across the Bay Area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each shipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo as required by shipment specifications
- Respond professionally to delivery challenges and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
