Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional deliveries
- Maintain precise delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Document all transport activities using electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams for seamless operations
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logs
- Strong understanding of HAZMAT regulations (certification preferred)
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 75 pounds
