Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers and delivery vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation purposes.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety on the road.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
