Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks/semi-trailers) for overnight deliveries throughout Illinois and Texas
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and route optimization guidelines
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members via GPS tracking systems
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with night shift preference
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Chicago/Texas highways and DOT compliance requirements
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging and delivery tracking systems
