Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes, including Pennsylvania and Illinois corridors.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route adjustments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems for the East Coast and Midwest.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
