Responsibilities
- Transport packages and goods safely to designated delivery locations within the assigned timeframe.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures from customers to ensure receipt of goods.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to track route progress and update status in real-time.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, including cargo area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues courteously.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and order management.
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use a company vehicle.
