Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-drop routes across San Diego County and Southern California
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure temperature-sensitive cargo integrity throughout transit
- Uphold FMCSA safety regulations and company protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years recent OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of California weight laws and route planning
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Overnight shift availability required
