Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local and regional routes within a 150-mile radius of Omaha.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using manual or powered equipment, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, traffic, or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong knowledge of local Omaha roadways and geography.
