Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across designated routes with zero preventable incidents
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure temperature-controlled cargo integrity (reefer experience preferred)
- Uphold Swift's safety standards and DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Arizona roadways and overnight delivery protocols
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reefer certification (or willingness to obtain)
