Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries during overnight shifts
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Secure cargo and handle loading/unloading procedures as required
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all FMCSA standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 1-year experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of regional routes and Wichita area geography
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities for minor repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for loading/unloading duties
