Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Los Angeles County
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of high-value cargo
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize route efficiency to minimize fuel consumption and delivery times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate manual transmission
- Familiarity with LA metropolitan area and major highways (I-5, I-10, I-405)
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and hazardous materials handling
