Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Mesa and surrounding Arizona routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Arizona roadways
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) with occasional holiday shifts
- Excellent time management and communication skills
