Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional overnight routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document all vehicle conditions
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while maintaining delivery timelines
- Secure and verify cargo integrity at each stop point
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong familiarity with Florida roadways and Tampa metro area
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proven track record of safety compliance and on-time deliveries
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
