Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across regional routes while maintaining delivery timelines
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Resolve delivery issues and provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Indiana roadways
- Physical capability to handle 50+ lb loads repeatedly
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
