Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or refrigerated) while adhering to DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Adapt to dynamic routes and weather conditions while maintaining on-time deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety protocols
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
