Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated customer locations on time and in excellent condition.
- Manage and maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage and fuel records.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to maintain a perfect safety record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple stops efficiently.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings or overtime.
