Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical examination certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in long-haul or local truck driving preferred.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
