Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across Chicagoland
- Adhere to DOT regulations and strict safety protocols during all operations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment usage
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicle records and logbooks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro area and surrounding routes
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
