Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
