Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles over assigned local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and delivery paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid United States Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
