Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Driver's Logs (ELD) and DVIR inspections.
- Adhere to strict time limits and delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for cargo loading and weight calculations.
