Responsibilities
- Secure Transport: Safely deliver medical specimens, blood samples, and lab reports to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories on strict schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your assigned vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent mechanical condition at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, electronic manifests, and chain-of-custody forms for every shipment.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company safety policies to ensure the privacy and integrity of patient data.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with medical staff and patients, providing a friendly and courteous delivery experience.
- Flexibility: Work varying shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, to meet the 24/7 needs of the medical community.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record free of major violations.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
