Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive materials between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using GPS-enabled vehicles
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Perform temperature-controlled transport for biologics and pharmaceuticals
- Complete electronic delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
