Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, blood samples, and tissues safely and securely from healthcare facilities to laboratories.
- Maintain a spotless vehicle and adhere to strict DOT and company vehicle maintenance standards.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and safety protocols to ensure patient privacy and data security.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to accurately track packages and update delivery statuses in real-time.
- Interact professionally with medical staff and patients, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor at all times.
- Complete daily logbooks and mileage reports accurately and submit them by the deadline.
Qualifications
- A valid state-issued Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or recent accidents).
- Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance coverage.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions regarding temperature and handling.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
