Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in climate-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to strict HIPAA privacy regulations for patient data
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for time-sensitive pickups/dropoffs
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and transport containers
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with precision and urgency
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college students welcome
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs safely
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Previous medical or logistics experience preferred
