Responsibilities
- Collect and transport medical specimens, documents, and laboratory equipment from medical facilities to testing centers and hospitals in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company protocols to ensure the confidentiality and safety of patient data and specimens.
- Utilize handheld delivery scanners and GPS technology to maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and facility personnel to resolve delivery issues and coordinate schedules.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing our brand.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance and registration.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone apps.
- Strong sense of punctuality and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
