Job Overview
As a Medical Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of sensitive medical specimens, lab samples, and equipment. You play a critical role in ensuring diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and equipment to hospitals and clinics in Newark and surrounding areas.
- Ensure strict adherence to temperature control and cold chain regulations for all medical supplies.
- Complete accurate documentation and log delivery information in the dispatch system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to medical facility staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong sense of punctuality and time management.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
