Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals with strict temperature control protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and chain-of-custody records
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for time-sensitive pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport units
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling regulations
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical background preferred
