Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and equipment in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols and documentation for all medical shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient routing and on-time deliveries across Minneapolis metro
- Communicate professionally with hospital staff, clinics, and emergency services
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure proper sanitation protocols
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with flexibility and urgency
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical logistics certification preferred
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport and medical packaging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and operate medical equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
