Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals with strict adherence to HIPAA and biohazard protocols
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Document delivery processes and maintain electronic chain-of-custody records
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain impeccable cleanliness standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers during critical deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record (minimum 3 years)
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate medical facility layouts
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication tools
