Responsibilities
- Collect and transport medical specimens, lab results, and documents to various healthcare facilities within the metro area.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols at all times.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, proper maintenance, and timely refueling.
- Perform temperature-controlled deliveries for sensitive medical supplies.
- Log all deliveries accurately into the dispatch system using provided handheld devices.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Experience in healthcare logistics or courier services is preferred but not required.
