Responsibilities
- Safely Transport sensitive medical specimens, lab equipment, and pharmaceuticals to various healthcare facilities while adhering to strict safety standards.
- Maintain Vehicle cleanliness and perform daily pre-trip inspections on the company-provided van to ensure it is road-ready.
- Adhere Strictly to all HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure the privacy and safety of patient data.
- Manage Route planning and time management to ensure on-time delivery for hospital partners.
- Handle Deliveries with extreme care, utilizing proper handling techniques for fragile and temperature-sensitive items.
- Communicate Effectively with dispatch and facility contacts regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to Lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physical duties associated with loading and unloading cargo.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by the healthcare schedule.
- Basic Computer Skills for logging deliveries and checking email communication.
- Professional Attitude with a strong commitment to punctuality and customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
