Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, samples, and documents to and from medical facilities, labs, and hospitals in a safe and timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to all company protocols and healthcare regulations regarding temperature control and chain of custody.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and vehicle appearance at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanners and GPS tracking software to accurately log delivery statuses and update the central dispatch system.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Handle sensitive patient data with the highest level of confidentiality and security.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients regarding delivery details.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong sense of punctuality and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn tracking software quickly.
- Physical ability to load and unload packages, including standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience in logistics or medical delivery is preferred but not required.
