Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and sensitive documents safely and securely to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company protocols to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to log deliveries and maintain real-time tracking accuracy.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and dispatch teams regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Ensure the preservation of temperature-sensitive materials using provided coolers and ice packs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for logging purposes.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and communication.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
