Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and healthcare materials safely and securely in strict compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to strict time schedules to ensure timely delivery of critical medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
- Update delivery status in our logistics management system (GPS tracking) throughout the day.
- Interact professionally with hospital staff, physicians, and patients to ensure a positive experience.
- Handle confidential documentation with the utmost discretion and accuracy.
- Operate a delivery vehicle in all weather conditions safely.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for logging deliveries.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
