Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and documents safely, securely, and in compliance with all regulations.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA privacy laws and safety protocols during every transport.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at medical facilities.
- Handle packages with extreme care and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Complete daily delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and dispatch regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable cell phone and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required by the healthcare schedule.
