Responsibilities
- Deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals to designated healthcare facilities in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while operating a company vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries using handheld scanners or delivery logs.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive medical materials.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality during all deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong sense of punctuality and time management skills.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld scanners.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
