Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab results, and healthcare supplies to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories on strict schedules.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and time-sensitive delivery windows.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition before and after each shift.
- Handle sensitive patient information with the highest level of confidentiality and privacy.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and dispatch to resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and complete daily mileage logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in medical courier or delivery driving is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
