Responsibilities
- Safely and securely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and medical equipment to various healthcare facilities in and around Chandler.
- Adhere strictly to all medical courier protocols, including temperature control and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of deliveries, mileage, and stop times using the provided handheld scanners.
- Ensure all delivery documentation is completed correctly and signed off by facility personnel.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle (if provided) or your personal vehicle (with reimbursement).
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable cell phone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery data.
