Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver medical specimens, blood samples, and sensitive medical equipment to hospitals, labs, and clinics in and around Chandler, AZ.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and chain-of-custody procedures to ensure specimen integrity.
- Operate company-issued vehicles safely and efficiently, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Utilize handheld technology (PDAs) to scan barcodes, confirm delivery times, and log trip details accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and public safety.
- Handle items with extreme care and professionalism, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with mobile scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
